Our Story
Our Founder
Simon Ohayon, our founder was not only an amazing man his titles included brother, father, husband, grandfather, and entrepreneur. Simon immigrated to Montreal in 1967 looking to chase the Canadian dream. His dream was to open a shoe store. With little knowledge that he had in the shoe industry, he rolled up his sleeves and got to work. Within a year (1968) he had saved up enough money shining shoes to open up his very first shoe shops; Suzie shoes and Stephen’s shoes. 10 years later Simon opened Sandrini shoes. The goal with Sandrini was to offer extreme comfort at a reasonable price. In the ’70s and '80s, comfortable shoes were extremely expensive so Simon set out to break that barrier. It turned out that Simon had discovered a niche that would later serve him well. Simon throughout his 50-year career opened numerous stores scattered across Canada including Montreal, Toronto, etc…
Today his daughter is perpetuating his legacy. Having worked with him throughout the years, she has furthered her father's dream and is looking to the future with tremendous hope!
Montreal Based
Oh, Montreal! how we love our city. You have served us well and so have your citizens. From the bottom of our heart, we thank Montreal and all it’s amazingly unique individuals who have helped us grow not only as a business but as family.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

50 years of experience
With time comes experience and expertise. The older our family business became the more familiar we grew with the shoe business. We learned to understand customer needs and adapt to emerging industry standards and innovations related to style, comfort, and a whole plethora of other elements. That’s exactly why shopping at a family-owned store like us poses benefits over larger “one size fits all” approach stores.
